Obama just moments ago named Nobel Prize-winning physicist Steven Chu his pick for energy secretary and Lisa Jackson to be the head of the EPA. "My administration will value science," he said. "We will make decisions based on facts."Dramatically different from the Republican method of relying on the wealth of knowledge in 2000 year old religious domes and occasionally--if you're Nancy Reagan--taking a gander at the stars. Nice to know our transition team is aiming for something that post dates the enlightenment. Republicans really should give the whole science / rational thought thing a try.
